At the last Rotary Club meeting, our table somehow got onto the subject of which denomination certain superheroes might belong to. I found a website that has researched this (you gotta love the internet) and discovered that the Episcopal Church might just have the most kick-butt group of SuperHeroes out there. Check out this list:
Marvel Girl (Valeria Richards)
Madrox the Multiple Man
Marvel Girl (Rachel Grey)
Tattletale (Franklin Richards)
Captain Britain
The Human Torch
Invisible Woman
Archangel
Chamber
Psylocke
Beast Jean Grey
and
BATMAN!
That makes 2 of the Fantastic Four (plus Reed and Sue's Son, who is uber-powerful), 7 X-Men and THE BATMAN.
and some other lesser knowns:
Scarecrow of Romney Marsh Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future General John Ryker Squire Whitney Fordman Gerald Ford Henrietta Hunter Mr. Justice, the Royal Wraith Hound Gideon Turkel
I think we could take just about any other group.
THe biggest group is the Catholics, with such notables as The Hulk, but he's their only real muscle. Lot of spares over there, like the Blue Beetle and the Punisher. In fact the only group that could give us trouble is the Methodists, with Superman, Superboy and Supergirl on their team, but lets face it.... Batman can take SuperMan any day of the week. He keeps kryptonite handy, and he fights dirty.
