Hey everyone! Been a while since I've updated, and I apologize for that. Great things have been going on, though. A couple of weeks ago, Robyn and I led the music for St. John's VBS program (actually, Robyn led it and I kind of helped a little) and we had a great time. We had about 30-40 kids from the Pottsboro Kid's Club there, as well as a bunch of kids from St. John's.
Now, the BIG NEWS! Well, I can't tell you exactly what it is yet... but I can tell you this: I've been working behind the scenes with some other pastors and youth pastors in our area, and we're working on a really big idea. It's kind of what we are doing now, but on a bigger scale. We are hoping to find a few churches in the Pottsboro area and a few in the Sherman area and combine our resources and do youth group together.
Each church would pay me a little to lead the overall ministry. So, some of the news is that we have our first church all signed up in the Sherman area! I can't say which yet, because it isn't all official yet, but it is going to happen!

My vision of becoming youth minister to the Texoma area and not just one church is happening, a little at a time! It couldn't have been done without help from our supporters, so I want to thank you!!
So, if thats not enough to pray about already, here's another request for you. I've just applied for a part-time job in Pottsboro (I won't say where exactly yet because I don't want anyone there to feel awkward about it) but it would be a great extra support for us. It's a few hours a day and (hopefully) wouldn't interfere with what we've got going on in the larger picture, but it would give me a definite higher visibility and recognition in the community. So, I'll let you know how that goes.
